Jason Cook has worked full time in production for 17 years, both behind and in front of the camera. While working as an actor on Days of Our Lives (1300+ Eps) he shot his first short, The Making of Triassic Park. Following a warm reception and selling his next two screenplays, he directed his second short film, Social Security Guard, based on his feature screenplay by the same name.
After seven years, he left his contract role to produce his first feature length documentary, Numb to Life. Jason is writer, producer and director of Cafe Oscuro Films' feature film "The Creatress" (2018) and short film "Love Afterlife" (2017).
Because of the burgeoning marketplace for content, he founded Digital Cuvee to utilize his short format concepts for brands in the marketplace.
He is the author of The Boy and His Gryphon, The Age of Airships, and did in fact play a doctor on TV General Hospital (320+ Eps). His second feature film, State of Bacon, has just been released on iTunes and Google Play on September 5th 2014, better known as International Bacon Day.
Cook sold his first script, SCHOOL SPIRIT, at 20 years old, and has branched out as a novelist, completing his most recent, “Love Life To Death” earlier this year. He was most recently published in Soap Opera Digest .
